Celebrating Diversity: Join Our #BKBStoriesofDiversity Initiative

What impact did hearing African stories during your early childhood have on you, and how do African narratives contribute to fostering inclusivity today?

Exciting news is on the horizon!

At Bokobokids, our philosophy revolves around embracing the Ubuntu philosophy deeply rooted in Africa’s ancient wisdom and knowledge. Above all, we celebrate the rich tapestry of human diversity. Today, we are thrilled to announce a new series that puts you in the spotlight – “Stories of Diversity”.

It’s a conversation where we hand you the microphone and ask for your insights on how African stories can be a unifying force rather than a divisive one.

The Power of African Stories

In this new series, we explore a simple yet profound question:

What impact did hearing African stories during your early childhood have on you,
and how do African narratives contribute to fostering inclusivity today?

We invite you to join the #BKBStoriesofDiversity movement, where your voice matters.

Share a photo of yourself with your mother, grandmother, or child, and accompany it with a personal story about the impact of African storytelling in your life today.

Inclusive Initiative

Our initiative is open to all individuals who have shared African folktales with their children or heard them from their elders. It’s a call to everyone, including elders who remember stories that might otherwise be forgotten. Preserving the ancestral wisdom of all cultures is essential in today’s ever-evolving world.

Mark your calender!

Don’t miss out on our inaugural “Stories of Diversity” episode, premiering this Friday.

Will you be the next storyteller to contribute to this meaningful conversation?

Join the movement!

In the spirit of Ubuntu, let’s come together to celebrate diversity and share the wisdom of African stories.

Join us this Friday and be part of a conversation that transcends boundaries and unites us all.

We are more than happy to receive your stories at teambokobokids@gmail.com!
